The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is hosting a free workshop called “New Year & New Employment Laws” from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in two locations. The Monday, Oct. 28, a session will be held at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort. The next day, Tuesday, Oct. 29, a repeat of the class will be held at the Colorado Mountain College Leadville Campus Room 401.
The SBDC provided, “The 2019 Legislation session resulted in several new employment laws that affect all employers, including how you recruit and pay your employees. What now?”
The workshop will cover the changing landscape and tools to help business owners manage and understand employment laws. This includes topics such as hiring top talent, keeping top performers, on-boarding versus orientation, and Federal Law in the news.
For more information about the SBDC workshops and events, SBDC encourages you to contact Jamie Billesbach by emailing email@example.com.
