Small business owners often play many roles, including that of chief financial officer and bookkeeper, and many also rely on QuickBooks software to keep their business’ financials in order, so to help those owners in their daily operations the Savannah Morning News has teamed up with local accounting firm Hancock Askew & Co. to answer any and all of your QuickBooks and bookkeeping questions.
“The issues vary, but the biggest issue we see is payroll or sales tax not being captured properly,” said Mickey Usry, senior business services advisor at Hancock Askew.
“Sometimes people set it up and just assume its correct, it happens more than you imagine.”
