The series, called Jump Start Menahga!, is a collaboration between the city, the Economic Alliance, and the Small Business Development Center, and is funded in part by the Initiative Foundation, a regional foundation.

The classes will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. every Thursday in the Menahga School computer lab from Jan. 17 to Feb. 28. Registration deadline for the complete course is Jan. 15. Business owners and entrepreneurs can also choose single sessions to attend.

The goal of the series is to help entrepreneurs build their business plans from start to finish. Topics covered include writing a company description, market research, product and service lines, marketing and sales, and financing your business.
