Destination marketing is focus of May 21 WIB
Destination marketing will be the topic of the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business luncheon on May 21 at 11:30 a.m. at the Legends Club, 2701 Washington Road.
Guest speaker Bennish Brown, CEO of the Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau, will present “Telling Our Story: Augusta’s Growth as a Destination Hotspot.” Brown also will share more about the “All In Augusta” five-year capital campaign to help fund projects in the city’s strategic destination marketing plan.

Rest Master hosts NA Business After Hours
The Greater North Augusta Chamber of Commerce and Rest Master Factory Outlet will be hosting a Business After Hours May 20 from 5-6:30 p.m. at 16 Rest Master Lane in North Augusta.
The monthly networking event for professionals is held at various locations throughout the North Augusta community. The family-owned Rest Master Factory Outlet was the chamber’s 2017 Small Business of the Year award winner.

Small Business Marketing applications available
Applications for the Augusta Metro Chamber Small Business Marketing Academy’s July to December program are available for download on the chamber’s website. The South State Bank-presented program assembles small business owners and managers to learn, share and plan for a growing, thriving business.
Applicants must be in operation at least two years; agree to the terms of enrollment; complete a self-assessment of their business prior to the start of the program; and pledge to attend all classes. Tuition fees are $150 Members and $300 for prospective members.
The application deadline is July 19.
